Payment & Refund Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
We sell services, not products, so there is nothing to ship back and nothing to return. What there is instead is a clear order of events, so you know at every point what you have paid for and what happens if you stop.
You see the work before you pay
Our first step is a real prototype of your project, made with your name and your product. You see it before any money changes hands. If it does not convince you, we shake hands and you owe nothing. That is not a promotion, it is how we work: it does not seem fair to charge for a promise.
How payment works
Once you approve the prototype, the written proposal sets the price, the payment schedule and what is included. Unless the proposal says otherwise, work starts when the first payment is received. Every payment is invoiced.
If you cancel before we start
If you cancel after paying but before we begin production, you get the full amount back. Write to us and we return it within fourteen days, to the same method you paid with.
If you cancel while the work is in progress
You may stop at any time. You pay for the part that is already done and we return the rest. What is done gets valued against the stages in the proposal, not against the calendar. If we disagree on the number, the proposal's own breakdown decides. And whatever is finished at that point is yours: files, designs, access. We do not hold work hostage.
If something is not as agreed
Tell us. If we delivered something that does not match what the proposal says, we fix it at no cost. If it still does not match after that, you get back what you paid for that part. This covers what was agreed, not a change of mind about what you want — that is a new scope and it gets quoted as such.
Third-party costs
Some projects include things we pay for on your behalf: domains, hosting, licensed software, stock assets, advertising budgets. Those are not refundable once bought, because we cannot get them back either. They are always listed separately in the proposal so you know which part of the price is ours and which is not.
How to ask
Write to linearproductionwork@gmail.com saying what you are asking for and why. You will get an answer within five working days, with a name and a reason, not a form letter.
